Suzie and her staff at the Roosevelt Spring Creek Store know how to make it happen.
Every Labor Day they put on a fundraiser for the High Desert Humane Society and they do it up big.
We are always amazed at how much they gather and contribute to the care of our local dogs and cats. This year along with pet beds, toys, rugs, bedding, pet dishes,carriers, collars, leashes. food and litter they donated over $2,677 in cash.
What a great community they have out there. Suzie puts together a bake sale, burro sale, grab bags and raffle.
Her helpers include Amy, Sharon, Jessica, Pam, Verna, Deb, Jim & Stef, Celia, Robert, Elaine, Coca Cola, Hensly Budweiser, Roosevelt Lake Resort, Boston’s Lake House Grill, Little Caesers, Pine Ice and Frito Lay. If we left anyone out we apologize.
We even adopted out a little Terrier named Henry while we were there. It was a wonderful weekend and we thank Suzie and all of her dedicated helpers for doing this for us.
Like I said you Rock.
