GILA COUNTY — The Annual GCCGA Holiday Salute to Ranching Dinner-Dance and Auction was held Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Gila County Fairgrounds.
Following a steak dinner provided by Suzanne Menges, Black Hills Catering, the Globe-Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce presented the Rancher and Wrangler of the Year awards.
Rancher of the Year 2017, was Nathan Ellison. Wrangler of the Year was John McBride
Over 150 guests gathered to enjoy an evening to catch up with old friends and meet and greet new ones. All joined in the fun and comradery of and bidding on a variety of live and silent auction holiday gift items ranging from a 5-day vacation in Cancun to rifles, handcrafted yard furniture, tools, and stocking stuffers of toys and gift certificates from several local merchants.
