Globe — Gila County Superintendent Roy Sandoval brought together local legislators and educators for a roundtable in Globe on April 24.

Educators from Miami, Globe, and Tonto Basin as well as State Senator Frank Pratt and State Representatives T.J. Shope and David Cook attended Friday’s meeting. The group discussed school vouchers and the recently passed alternative certification bill, SB 1042.

Sandoval hosts these meetings every other month to provide an opportunity for Gila County School administrators to speak directly with lawmakers about the issues they’re facing.
