Superior Optimist Club, like many other non-profits and other organizations, has had to cancel events and fundraisers to help stop the spread of Covid-19 and ensure the safety of family, friends, community, and many supporters. Magma Royale, their main fundraiser, was canceled in August. This event helps sustain their books and aids in the many donation requests, scholarships, and Honors Assembly where qualifying seniors are given a laptop to help with their continuing education.
The club has decided to have a socially distant raffle. Everyone has been very supportive, and they have received many great raffle items.
Raffle Tickets will be sold until Oct. 29, and winners will be drawn via live Facebook feed on Oct. 31.
