Timoteo Santos Campos, age 73, of Miami, Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2019 in Globe. Timeteo was born on March 24, 1945 to his loving parents Jose and Alicia Campos. Timoteo lived in Globe ’til he was 12 years old then moved to Miami where he stayed until he joined the Navy. He loved serving his country and the people of his town. He worked as a copper miner and even a bailiff for the Gila County Sheriff’s Department. One of his passions was that he was very involved in the growth of the youth of the town, which is why he was heavily involved in the Pinal Mountain Little League. One of his Many accomplishments was that he was the Town of Miami’s mayor from 1994-1998. He was a wonderful person who truly cared about others and making the town a better place for the future of our youth. He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Timoteo was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jose and Alicia Campos; his brothers, Tony, Rick and Steve Campos; his sister, Lydia Castaneda; his step-son, Freddy Melcher; his niece, Bobbi Joe Flores and his great-grandson, Orion Melcher. He is survived by his wife Patricia Campos; his sister, Teresa “Teddy” Campos Casillas, along with nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
