Miami Mayor Darryl Dalley fires a ceremonial cannon shot on Monday, March 5 to kick off the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Miami. The March 10 festivities featured a day of activities in Miami and was capped by a Centennial Dinner Dance at the Bullion Plaza Gym.
