Come join us to honor the Veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Nov. 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park located at 151 N. Pine Street, directly in front of the Globe City Hall, between Cedar Street and Oak Street off Highway 60 in Globe. Following the ceremony, the VFW and the American Legion invite the public to attend a free pulled pork sandwich lunch with all the fixings at the VFW Post 1704 at 707 S. Broad Street in Globe.
Thank a veteran for their courage, honor, and most of all, their sacrifice. Purchase a poppy. In the words of President Ronald Reagan, “Our liberties, our values. All for which America stands today is safe because brave men and women have been ready to face the fire at freedom’s front. And we thank God for them.”
