The Diabetes Self-Management Workshop will cover healthy eating, menu planning, exercise to manage blood glucose and improve strength, flexibility and endurance, techniques to deal with fatigue, frustration and isolation, and disease-related problem solving.
The virtual workshop meets for two hours, once a week, for six weeks. Participants will receive a free Healthy Living with Chronic Conditions book. The workshop is free of charge, but participation is limited.
