Globe High School Football team was part of the 42 volunteers who showed up to help spread slag, and clean the Historic Old Dominion Mine Park over the weekend.
A lot was done over the day, and we are so grateful to our volunteers for helping. Unfortunately, not all of our goals were met. So another volunteer day is set for next Saturday Oct. 14, from 7 - 9 a.m.
We invite all the public out and to bring wheel barrels, shovels and metal rakes as we will be moving slag onto the trails that need firmer footing.
