GLOBE — The third annual “Walk for Hope” will be held on Saturday, Mar. 3 This walk is to show support for area drug awareness, recovery efforts as well as to remember those lost from substance abuse.
The walk will start at 10 a.m. at the Gila County Court House located at 1400 E. Ash St. in Globe and conclude at the Globe City Park, where there will be food, entertainment for the entire family and presenters to discuss various substance abuse programs in the area, prevention efforts, recovery options, as well as open mic time for the community.
The public is encouraged to join the walk and to show support for a healthy, drug-free community.
Vendors that represent substance abuse treatment, recovery, substance abuse awareness and/or substance abuse prevention are asked to participate.
