Wells Fargo helps American Dream in Miami

During the Nov. 5 Miami Unified School District Board meeting, local representatives from Wells Fargo presented a $7,500 check to the district to support the Reaching the American Dream program. The program features curriculum from Arizona State University that teaches elementary and middle school students, along with their families, the skills they will need to prepare for academic and life success. As part of the program, students will learn how to climb the Success Ladder, to commit to success, to make expectations clear, and parents will learn how they can be involved in their child’s education, and how to find the resources and opportunities that build a child’s toolkit. The grant will provide Chromebooks for one of the classrooms participating in the curriculum.
