Work of artist Henson on display at CVCA

This January explore the creative workings of resin abstract artist Mary Kate Henson. Using resin, dyes and pigments, Henson creates vividly surreal artscapes. 

Originally from Georgia, Henson spent her early career as a plumber. She’s painted for 23 years and is inspired by the Spirit and the outdoors. She also writes poems and songs and is currently working on two books.

Meet Henson at an artist’s opening on Saturday, Jan. 12 from 5-7 p.m.
