The High Desert Humane Society continues to keep growing due to the tremendous community support of its thrift stores, cat rescue at 669 Broad St. and dog rescue at 700 Shelter Ln. (Hackney Ave.) in Globe.
To thank the community for its support, the Upstairs Boutique at the thrift store, 150 Mesquite St., is having a 50% off sale in purses and backpacks for the month of August. The boutique is open Thursday 9-4, Friday 10-4 and Saturday 9-4.
The Furniture, Home and Décor thrift store, at 395 Broad St., is also having a 50% off sale on all books, glassware and kitchen items for the month of August. They are also hosting a fundraiser, with cookies from Round Mountain Baking Co. (thank you, Cecilie Hudson), Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. until sold out. All proceeds will go to the Humane Society. Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10-4. New arrivals daily, special markdowns weekly!
The Mesquite thrift store is open Tuesday through Thursday 9-4, Friday 10-4 and Saturday 9-4. It features pet supplies, clothes, home goods & accessories, jewelry and much more. We sell the best for less!
