Adela Lopez Tewksbury, 93, died peacefully at Angel Home Care in Globe, Ariz. on April 24, 2019. She was born Nov. 9, 1925 in Miami, Ariz. to Jesus Lopez and Julia Garcia Lopez. She is preceded in her death by her son Edwin W. Tewksbury, Jr., brothers Sabino Lopez, Bennie Lopez, Arnold Lopez and her sister Margaret Pastor.
Adela is survived by her son George (Janie); daughter Irene; grandchildren Monica (Toby) Thompson, Veronica (Troy) Haddock, Carlo (Deanna) Tewksbury, Javier Tewksbury and 11 great-grandchildren.
Adela worked for Valley National Bank and Magma - Pinto Valley Copper Mines where she retired after 17 years. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church.
