Ernest Amado, age 77, of Miami, Ariz. passed away Sunday, July 1 at his home in Miami.
He was born Nov. 16, 1940 to Angela (Gonzales) Amado and Tony Amado.
He was lifelong resident of the Globe-Miami area. He was an avid hunter and he loved to fish. He enjoyed his rock collection and picking up rocks. He loved his dog Roxie. Ernest enjoyed playing with his grandkids, they loved his great sense of humor.
Ernest was preceded in death by his father Tony Amado, his mother Angela Amado, his brother Anthony Amado, his sister Olivia Hernandez and grandson Mark-Anthony Amado.
Ernest is survived by his wife Stella, sons Ernest B. Amado and Mark Amado, his daughter Kimberly Amado Conner, his six grandchildren and five Great-grandchildren, his brothers; Frank Amado, Richard Amado, Arthur Amado (Helen) and Angel Amado, his sisters; Sylvia Badilla (Rudy), Yolanda Chacon (Sam), Julia Asonovich (Matt), and Rosemary Perez. He also had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and two Aunts and two Uncles.
He will be deeply missed, as he was deeply loved by all.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Ariz. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial followed.
Interment will be at Globe Cemetery in Globe, Ariz. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
