It is with sad and broken hearts that we share the news of the passing of beloved husband, father, son, family member and friend.
Jason A Sanchez, age 41, of Globe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at Banner Baywood Medical Center hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
Jason had been fighting several different illnesses for many years and now is in eternal peace. Jason was born Jan. 26. 1977 to Raymond and Irene Gerardo. He is survived by his loving wife Cathy and daughters Ashley, Arianna and Alexis Sanchez. His parents Raymond and Irene Gerardo. Brothers Joe Gerardo, Dean Gerardo, George Gerardo, Paul Gudino, Stephen Gerardo, Jacob Sanchez and Beau Gerardo. Sisters Ginny Ann Gerardo, Dorthy Sancedo and is proceeded in death by his sister Aurora Marie Hemphill. Jason has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved him especially his best friend for 27 years the love of his life his wife Cathy.
We invite all extended family, friends, community volunteers and dear acquaintances to a memorial service of Witness to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 20th at 10 a.m. This celebration of life and thanksgiving will be held at Divine Grace Presbyterian Church in Miami, located at 305 Live Oak St.
Handicapped parking will be available on the east side of the building, near the downstairs entrance. There is an accessible lift for those unable to climb the several flights of stairs and we recommend an early arrival. A fellowship luncheon will be held at Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall following.
Jason’s life is a tremendous testimony to his faith in Christ, his incredible devotion to his beloved wife, daughters and family and his amazing dedication in serving others. Through many years of physical challenges and failing health, he never complained and trusted the Lord every step of the way. His life is secure forever in the presence of the one who went before him.
A Go-Fund-Me account has been established in honor of Jason to help this precious family with unexpected expenses at this time. If preferred, tax deductible donations can be sent directly to Divine Grace Presbyterian Church, care of Jason Sanchez. All monies will be given directly to the family for the days ahead.
