Julia “Judy” Grinder

Julia “Judy” Grinder, entered peacefully into eternal rest on December 26, 2017 at Banner Baywood Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona surrounded in love by her family.  She was born on June 24, 1950 in Harrison, Arkansas to her loving and devoted parents, John and Julia Grinder.  She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Julia Grinder; her brother Irving Grinder; her two (2) nephews, Billy Hayes of Miami, Arizona and Tristen Grinder of Globe, Arizona.

Judy is survived by her loving and caring sisters, Sharron Taylor of Globe, Arizona, Lela (Lamuel) Ortiz of Globe, Arizona and Shirley (Jim) Hammer of Globe, Arizona and many wonderful nieces and nephews of Globe, Arizona.

She spent most of her younger years residing between the states of Colorado and Arkansas.  In the mid 60’s Judy moved to Globe, Arizona.  Judy is a graduate of the 1968 Class of Globe High School.

Judy has worked locally in various industries including the mining and restaurant industries. She has also worked as a detention officer and a security guard.

Judy was such a very generous and giving person and she loved spending time with her family and gambling in Laughlin, Nevada.  

She was also an avid swimmer and loved her trips to Laughlin, Nevada.  

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family of Julia “Judy” Grinder will be conducting a private family service in her honor.
