Lawrence Leroy Goodale, of Vernon, Ariz. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at the Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Ariz. He was 76. Lawrence was born on Oct. 6, 1941 in Iola, Kan. Lawrence lived most of his life in the Globe/Miami, Arizona area. He worked for the Cypress Miami Mine as a welder for almost 30 years before his health forced him to retire. He loved working in his garage on various projects whenever he had the chance. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. He also enjoyed anything that had to do with motorcycles. A loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Goodale of Vernon, Ariz.; daughter, Diane Tober and husband, Brett, of Top Of The World, Ariz.; grandchildren, Cory Tober, of Top Of The World, Randy Tober and wife, Meagan, of Globe, and Kayla Tober and companion, Aaron Casillas, of Globe; nine great-grandchildren; cousins, Troy Curbey and Wife, Carolyn, of Miami, and Vern Curbey and Wife, Reta, of Mesa; nephews, Rusty Goodale, of Apache Junction, and Buddy Goodale and Wife, Sunny, of Texas, as well as a niece, Samantha Prien and husband, Andrew, of Pueblo, Colo. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made the Alzheimer’s Association in Lawrence’s name. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
