Musie Carol Rescola, 81, passed away on June 17, 2024 at Northwest Hospital in Amarillo, TX. She graduated from Miami High School in 1961. She soon met Thomas Rescola, and together they had 3 children, Andrea, Ted, and Jenifer. She was a devoted spouse and parent, always putting her family first and cherishing every moment spent with them. Carol had a passion for painting, drawing and quilting, and enjoyed hosting her family and friends. Carol’s enthusiasm and smile were infectious, making a difference in the lives of those she touched. Carol was known for her paintings and drawings, her cooking, and her loving heart. Carol was admired by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community. She is survived by her children Andrea Rescola, Ted Rescola (Becky), and Jenifer Rescola, her 8 grandchildren Erin Palmer, Krissy Brian (RJ), James Dickson (Alyssa), Stella Lopez (Diego Garcia), TeddiMae Lopez, Carollynn Rescola, Daly Rescola, and Beau Rescola, her 4 great-grandchildren Elizabeth Palmer, Katrina Brian, Kolton Brian and Jaselynn Garcia, her aunts Anne Powers and Aline Spear, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Jewel Arnold and Leonard Tomlin, her loving husband Thomas Rescola, her uncles Robert “Bob” Powers, Don Powers, Leonard Powers and Leroy Powers, and her aunts Betty Packard and Mary Powers. To Carol (Nannie), we say farewell for now, but we will never forget the light you brought into our lives. May you rest in peace, and may we continue to honor your memory by living our lives to the fullest.
